Joe Biden’s Department of Justice prosecuted Baltimore state’s attorney Marilyn J. Mosby on trumped up mortgage fraud and perjury charges and secured convictions on both charges. Mosby was innocent of the charges against her, but this did not matter to Biden’s prosecutors. Donald Trump is using Biden's mortgage fraud playbook to go after New York Attorney General Letitia James and Federal Reserve Board member Lisa D. Cook on the same bogus charges. 

New York Attorney General Letitia James successfully prosecuted a civil business fraud case against then-businessman Donald Trump. Now, she faces "mortgage fraud" allegations from a Trump appointee to the Federal Housing Finance Agency who wants her prosecuted in a federal criminal proceeding. In our view, the "mortgage fraud" allegations against James are bogus and lack any legal merit. They evidence the beginning of Trump's implementation of "grudge justice."
