I have known Dr. Kenneth Prewitt since he was 8 years old. His mother, Dr. Lena Prewitt, was the first Black female professor hired at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama in 1970. His father, Moses Prewitt, was the director of Alumni Affairs at Stillman College in Tuscaloosa and one of my two best friends when I desegregated UA's law school in 1970. Today, Kenneth is an American Patriot and the owner and CEO of Serenity Grove, LLC.

President Donald Trump’s plan to remove the Martin Luther King, Jr., Memorial failed in 2025 because Milton Carver Davis, who was a visionary Alpha Phi Alpha General President (1993-96), a brilliant strategist, and superb lawyer, knew how to secure the Memorial against political regression, chaos in government, and future racist actors in the White House. Davis made the King Memorial "untouchable." This article explain how and why Davis did it.

Iran has established itself as a trustworthy and reliable partner for rapidly developing countries throughout the African continent. It has also supported the economic empowerment of U.S. Blacks for nearly five decades.

On April 29, 2026, in a 6-3 ruling, the U.S. Supreme Court held that Louisiana's congressional map, which included a second majority-Black district, was an unconstitutional racial gerrymandering. For all practical purposes, this ruling gutted the Voting Rights Act of 1965. It also clears the way for “Jim Crow” to arise from the grave.
