Charitably speaking, U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-Alabama) has never been viewed as an intellectual giant. Tommy Tuberville “whores” for Donald Trump and the MAGA faction of the National Republican Party. None of them respect him. They only use Tuberville whenever they need a neophyte "pack-mule" to tote a heavy load of MAGA political baggage.

Many federal judges are lawbreakers themselves. A lot of them have a dark side that nobody wants to talk about. Their colleagues in the federal criminal justice system often bail them out of their embarrassing predicaments, and move on. Mark E. This article features three men who had the courage to break down the color barrier in Alabama's public schools at a time when their lives and safety were threatened for doing so. Each man was a superstar in the profession. Each one was my client. And, each one made me a better person and lawyer. These men are Harvest Mitchell, Jr., in Florence, Alabama, Charles L. Carter in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, and Walker Alexander in Attalla, Alabama.

Clarence Norris was one of the nine "Scottsboro Boys" who were arrested in 1931 in Paint Rock, Alabama and falsely accused of raping two white women on a freight train passing through the state. After their arrest, the Boys, who ranged from 13 to 18-years-old, were taken to Scottsboro, Alabama to await their trials. The passage of time revealed that all of the nine Scottsboro Boys were, in fact, innocent of the rape charges.

On August 28, 2019, Donald Watkins walked into the Federal Prison Camp at Talladega, Alabama as Inmate No. 36223-001. He was the camp's only political prisoner.
