New York Attorney General Letitia James successfully prosecuted a civil business fraud case against then-businessman Donald Trump. Now, she faces "mortgage fraud" allegations from a Trump appointee to the Federal Housing Finance Agency who wants her prosecuted in a federal criminal proceeding. In our view, the "mortgage fraud" allegations against James are bogus and lack any legal merit. They evidence the beginning of Trump's implementation of "grudge justice."
