"The Negro: A Menace to American Civilization" is a 1907 book written by Dr. Robert Bill Wilson Shufeldt (R.W. Shufeldt, M.D.), an American osteologist, military physician, and avid proponent of white supremacy. The book is a documented example of scientific racism. Today, the negative views held by Donald Trump, Pete Hegseth, Stephen Miller, and diehard MAGA cult members toward Black Americans are traced directly back to this racist book.
