In 2026, Alabama voters will choose a new governor. Three candidates have entered the race. Two of them are 71-year-old white men whose prior public service has not lifted the quality of life of Alabama's citizens. The third candidate is Dr. Will Boyd, a fresh face, a super-smart man, a doer, and a viable candidate for governor.
